Damalas - Halki - Kaloxilos

What you'll do

In Damalas, a tiny village of just a handful of permanent residents, visit Naxos’ oldest pottery workshop and enjoy a delightful demonstration of this ancient art.

On the next stop, you’ll arrive at the buzzing village of Halki where you will explore the century-old Kitron distillery.

Learn about its history and have a taste of this exquisite Naxian liqueur. Spare some time to wander around the narrow streets and discover charming shops for some souvenir shopping.

Finally, visit one more village (Kaloxilos), a quite peaceful one this time, giving you the chance to end your tour of Naxos' villages in an old, family-owned olive press, which was also the first establishment to provide electricity in the area.

Here you’ll be introduced to the building’s rich history in a short tour by the owners and then enjoy delightful tastings while discovering the world of olive oil production in Naxos

PFT reserves the right to cancel an entire activity or suggest a last-minute alternative in the case some of our associates are unable to host visits. In the case of full cancellation on our behalf, your deposit is fully refundable.
